Buckled Hardwood Flooring-Scranton, Pa
Following several days of rain, this Scranton home had their basement hardwood floors experience water damage causing them to buckle. Hardwood flooring is difficult and expensive to replace so SERVPRO of Wayne and South Lackawanna Counties employed the use of drying mats to save the original flooring. This technology "sucks" the water from the hardwood with the hope that when they are dry they can be restored back to their original condition. Repairing/restoring when ever possible saves both time and money and especially with hardwood flooring, should always be attempted first. This family was thrilled that we were able to save their floor.
