Grease Kitchen Fire Damages Ceiling

Pictured are the before and after of a kitchen grease fire which occurred in Honesdale, Pa. Kitchen fires are the most common house fire and cooking is the major culprit of them. In this incident, the homeowner left the stove unattended. 

SERVPRO of Wayne and South Lackawanna Counties was called by the insurance company to help restore the kitchen back to pre-fire condition. Our certified fire restoration technicians were able to dry sponge and wash with a SERVPRO brand cleaning agent the soot from the walls and ceilings. Once cleaned we were able to seal and paint making it "like it never even happened".
